C'est un duel de lanceurs, et c'est toujours 0-0 en 8e manche quand un simple de John Wingo fait marquer Armando Diaz pour donner les devants à la Section Nord. Ce sera le seul point du match, dans lequel seulement 6 coups sûrs seront frappés.

Wingo est le lanceur gagnant, et Bob Trice le perdant. 2100 spectateurs assistent au match.

Parmis les participants, on retrouve six futurs joueurs des majeures et trois autres qui ont déjà joué dans les Negro Leagues.

It's in the new stadium in St. John that the 1952 All-star game is played, opposing the North division (Quebec City, Drummondville, Three Rivers), managed by George McQuinn, to the South (Grandy, St. Hyacinthe, St. John).

The game was a pitchers duel. It was still scoreless in the eighth inning when John Wingo singled in Armando Diaz for the lone run of the game, giving the North section a 1-0 win.

Wingo was the winning pitcher, and Trice was saddled with the loss. 2,100 fans are in attendance.

Among the particpants, six eventually reached the majors, and among the others, three were former Negro leaguers.
